 BROOKE FISCHER NAMED ASSISTED LIVING OPERATOR OF THE YEAR
  

 KHCA/KCAL (Kansas Health Care Association & Kansas Center for Assisted Living) named Brooke Fischer, MSM, Operator, the prestigious Assisted Living Operator of the Year. The annual event was held in Wichita on September 28, 2017.

Brooke has worked in Long Term Care for more than 30 years. She has been Operator at Prairie Wind Senior Living since it opened in 2014. She is very active in the day-to-day operations at PWSL, delivering personal care to the elders along with her duties as the Operator. Brooke greatly values the team of caregivers that work alongside her and does her best to make sure that they know how much they are valued. Brooke is hard working and tenacious, and has a genuine affection and respect for elders. She has said many times that she can’t imagine herself doing anything other than taking care of elders, and it shows in all her interactions with the residents of Prairie Wind.

Prairie Wind Senior Living is Home.  A private, 5 bed home, family owned and operated.  Our family, with more than 60 years experience in elder care, is there to provide all the assistance needed to keep you or your loved one as independent and secure as possible.

We also provide Adult Day Care, both day or night, for those who don't need around the clock care.  If you need a safe place for your loved ones while you sleep, work or run errands, we can help.
